People often come in feeling stuck, confused, unhappy and overwhelmed. One of the most important things we do is listen and validate how you feel without being judgmental. This will often help you to begin to feel safe. Together, we will identify things in your life that may have contributed to how you feel, think, and act. We will develop a plan to increase your positive coping skills while working to decrease negative thinking patterns and unhealthy behaviors. We will review your goals periodically throughout treatment in order to identify areas where you have improved and to identify new goals.
